No more english...

Since google now provides excelent (not really) translation help. We will change language on the blog to svenska.

I can do "manly stuff" too...

Today was the day I started with "manly stuff" in the Mini project. Mårten let me try out some of his electric devices.
In a few minutes he noticed that cutting steel and welding things together was something I was born to do. When asked to take a picture of the event he really tryed to make it as blurry and crappy as he could. Is he jealous of my skills...?

Doers does what doers does

As we like to do things we decided to gather a few friends and go racing.
Since the Mini is: A) Not yet drivable B) To nice to drive in a Folk race we decided to buy an old SAAB 9000 16v on the way back from the Minigarage road trip.

Will the car drive for five hours on the muddy track of Sundsta? Time will tell...

A few test laps and now the SAAB is ready for racing.

We have a Minigarage subframe!

Last weekend we went on a short road trip to Gnesta. When we came back we had a brand new (very nice looking) subframe built to fit the Swift GTI engine into our Mini.

Crazy R us! (Part 2)

One impossible thing when repairing an old Minis is to remove a couple of "rubber ball things" that are located in the subframe without using a special tool (could it be the same tool that is used to remove Swift stearing wheels?).

As we did not know this was impossible I removed them with my very special tool - my hands!
